Gymnastics Description

Girls Level 3*
This is the entry level into competitive gymnastics. It is for ages 6 and up. Tryouts for this level are held in May, August and December. This level receives both achievement and placement ribbons at each meet (about 8-10 per year).

Girls Level's 4-10*
This is by invitation only for ages 7 and up. Many gymnasts start out as Level 3's and are promoted to the next level when the coach feels they are ready. All gymnasts progress at different rates. They will go to approximately 10 meets per year. These are the meets that we offer to take them to. This does not mean they must attend all of them. We require that each gymnast go to a percentage of meets per year even though we prefer for them to attend all if possible. These levels receive placement ribbons at meets and can also win team trophies.

* Note: Level's 3-5 practice compulsory routines. This means that everyone performs the same routine. Level's 6-10 are optional. This means that the gymnasts create their own routines which are unique to their abilities.
